Finished Half Life 2, Episode 1 and 2 after 9 years. As with many here, I have a huge backlog of games to complete. Slowly getting through it, yay! I have started and dropped HLF2 since 2014 and always ever got to Ravenholm. Just last night I finished Episode 2 and some of my quick thoughts on the HL2 "trilogy".
half life 2 is almost 10 years old, and is still comparable to a lot of FPS games released since then. Console gamers were still on gamecube, xbox and ps2. The source engine has been used in many games since then, including the recent release of Titan fall. The number of mods, the community, the sheer fun to play.
