My home server, Fort Aspenwood, was a Kurzick landmark and was/still kind of is a major wvw server. I picked the server my friends were playing on. During the original beta. The issue i see with WvW servers is that its notabout how many active players there is but about how little drama there is. Drakkar Lake and Millers Sound are both german
Region or server? Server only matters for WvW Is WvW a priority? The game has megaservers. So all servers can play together, except for WvW. And they are changing how WvW works as well in the future (so guilds will be able to play together across servers, if I understand it correctly) If you still want to change server. Yes you can change server
The first week will have free server transfers. Choosing your "home server" means that is where all your characters will live. The only way to change this is to get a server transfer or delete all your characters. As a note, they have said that for a short time after launch, you will be able to transfer servers for free.
This is primarily an internal designation, and does not limit or change the way you interact with the game itself: North American and European players will still be able to play and switch between servers in either region, and Chinese players will be able to choose between any servers in the Chinese region.
